About | techandcloud.com
Hi, I’m Pavankrishna. 👋
I’m a tech professional based in Germany with over 8 years of experience in QA and software testing. In 2026, I made the decision to take on a new challenge. I started my journey into cloud engineering with AWS.
And honestly? I know exactly how overwhelming it feels to start something completely new.
Why I Built This Site
As I started learning cloud, I noticed something frustrating: a lot of the content out there assumes you already know things. Docs are dense. Tutorials skip steps. And the basics, the stuff that actually trips beginners up, often aren’t explained clearly.
I’ve spoken to many people who feel the same way. Developers, testers, people switching careers. Smart and capable, but struggling to get past the basics because the explanations just aren’t landing.
So I built techandcloud.com to be the resource I wish I’d had. A place where real experience meets clear, honest explanations, written by someone who is in it with you, not lecturing from a distance.
What You’ll Find Here
Everything on this site is practical and to the point:
- Cloud & AWS: beginner-friendly guides that actually explain the concepts, not just the clicks
- Software Testing: lessons from 8+ years in QA, distilled into practical advice
- Career & Transition: honest, first-hand content about switching roles and breaking into cloud
- Tools: free resources and calculators to make your cloud journey easier
Who This Is For
This site is for you if you’re just getting started with cloud, if you’re a tester or developer looking to expand your skills, or if you’re thinking about making a career transition and don’t quite know where to begin.
You don’t need to be an expert. You just need to be curious. I’ll meet you there.
Let’s Learn Together
New posts go up every week. No fluff, no padding. Just real content that helps you move forward.
If something I write helps you understand even one concept a little better, that’s exactly why this site exists.
